A couple of weeks ago I backed the Swings: Bolivia project on Kickstarter, because the whole idea just gave me warm fuzzies all over. I loved the simplicity and unselfish nature of the project. Plus I could totally see myself enjoying a random swing in the middle of nowhere if I'd ever come across one.
Last night I got an e-mail from Drew & Jeff who run the project to give me an update on the swing that I funded. My swing was hung in Coroico, a small town in the Yungas that lies between the Andes & the Amazon. Have a look at the map to get an idea of how rural it is out there.
I also had my swing inscribed by "Oscilación vida lejos", which is Spanish for Swing Life Away and also the title of one of my favourite songs ever.
